Teaching Methodology

USITEC is 100% an online higher education institution. Degree programs and certificate programs are organized through internet based Learning Management Systems (LMSs). Our state state of the art LMSs are compatible with computer and mobile devices giving to teachers and students tremendous flexibility. In areas where the internet is not well expended, USITEC will use alternative digital files and proctored testing.

Online Facilitation and Instructional Design

Our detailed approach to learning will include all of the following methods of online facilitation and instructional design:

  1. Pre and Post Assessments (also soliciting the expectations of each learner).

  2. Responsive Reading of Course Materials (students to provide end-of-week feedback).

  3. Group Discussion Forums (Topics relative to the Course provided by Course Facilitator to be responded to by each learner).

  4. Historical Insights Reporting (students will have an opportunity to research historical content around the concept/event/process to structure information).

  5. Course Synergy Submissions (Combining concepts with real experiences for practical application purposes).

  6. Working Bibliography Completion (identification of field experts in the area of discipline being taught).

  7. Team Projects (Assigned Groups with Facilitator-Led topics for each group to present in either video or PowerPoint format submissions).

  8. Final Thesis Compositions (cumulative 10-15 page essay integrating the practical application of each learner with the -bibliography info- expert authorities of the discipline into a position paper to be graded for the final week of each course offering).
